Buyer

Isla Rose are searching for an experienced Buyer to join an established manufacturing business in Stoke.

As a Senior Buyer you will need to manage purchasing, transport, distribution and manufacturing effectively and within budget. The role gives the scope for experienced buyer to take control and implement new management systems and to support cost reduction targets and KPIs. This is a hands on role which will support multiple departments to ensure customers’ requirements are met. Some overseas travel may be required.

We are looking to speak with experienced buyers or senior buyers who are looking for a new challenge. Applicants should be degree educated (or equivalent), be CIPS qualified and have experience in electrical manufacturing or production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an effective vendor management system
• Purchase goods and services to meet company needs
• Control stock levels
• Work with multiple teams
• Complete required company reports
• Supplier terms negotiation
• Overseas travel

The salary range for this role is £40k - £50k DOE.

The working week is Monday to Friday on days.
