Role and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, following the school’s curriculum and standards.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Adapt lesson plans to suit varying abilities, ensuring all students are supported and challenged.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to support students' learning and development.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Design and Technology Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology, with experience teaching at secondary school level.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools in Stoke-on-Trent.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
