Salary: £13.30 to £13.90 per Hour - £26,972.40- £28,189.20*
Plus - £62.64 per sleep-in (working estimated9 sleep ins per month, an additional £6,765.12pa)
Total Package: £33,737.52 - £34,954.32
Shift pattern of 4 days on, 8 days off

We are currently seeking a number of Senior Residential Support workers to join a new service in Stoke On Trent supporting children aged 8-18 with Emotional or behavioural disorders.

The role:
You will be part of a team that provides a safe and often life changing experiences for children and young people, led and supported by a Registered Manager. This senior role is to support the Service Manager in providing the best quality care in a safe and focused environment.
Activity and Intervention services offer a twelve week programme for young people who require alternative accommodation to break the cycle of circumstances they find themselves in.

During that stay, young people take part in number of adventurous activities which aim to restore their self-confidence, build trust and establish positive relationships with highly trained and experienced adults.

There is a heavy focus on taking part in outdoor/physical activities, including mountain biking, adventurous jumping, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, hill walking, rock climbing and bouldering.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare - ESSENTIAL
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum of 1 years experience working in a similar environment.
  • An enjoyment of outdoor activities and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
