  • We are seeking experienced Support Workers to assist individuals with mental health issues, autism, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities.
  • Candidates must have at least 6 months of relevant experience in the UK and possess an in-date Enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
  • The role involves maintaining confidentiality, supporting service users with personal hygiene, and ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Support Workers will also need to communicate effectively with service users and their families while adhering to care plans and risk assessments.
  • The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

We are looking for experienced Support workers to work with individuals who have mental healt, Autism, Learning disabilities or physical disabilities. 

Main duties MAY include:

  • Giving and receiving reports on the condition and progress of services user as instructed and in accordance with service users’ care plan and their wishes at all times.
  • Ensuring that service users gain maximum benefit from their care support provides by CAP247 Care Ltd staff.  
  • Communicate with service users, their relatives, and visitors in a polite and courteous manner, respecting their individual needs, beliefs, wishes and preference.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information relating to service users, and organisation. 
  • Support service users to maximise comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout all aspect of care and support.
  • Protect service users from danger and abuse.
  • Assist service users with their personal hygiene according to their choice and preference and continence needs and pressure area care, if required.  
  • Grooming and dressing according to service users wishes, always maintaining dignity and privacy.  
  • Adhere to service user risk assessment and plan of care ·
  • Prepare service users and their environment for safe moving and handling and transfer using appropriate equipment as trained. ·
  • Maintain the health and safety of yourself and others by identifying and reporting any potential danger, and adhering to health& safety training, policies and procedures ·
  • Assist and support service users with all daily living tasks including activities, cooking, cleaning, life skills. 
  • Working with individuals who require the use of de-escalation techniques, Positive behaviour support and risk management. 

Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Must have in date Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
  • Care certificate or equivalent 
  • Mandatory trainings 
  • At least 6 months UK experience in the field  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
