Zest Education is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Hanley starting in Novemeber 2024

In this full-time position, you will work closely with a small class of students aged 3-11, providing them with the individual attention and care they need to thrive academically and emotionally. Your prior experience in special educational needs will be invaluable as you support students in overcoming challenges and developing essential skills.

As a Teaching Assistant at our PRU, you will collaborate with experienced teachers to create a safe and nurturing learning environment. Your ability to manage challenging behaviours with confidence will be crucial in fostering a supportive atmosphere where every student can reach their full potential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
