Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation (8.5-hour shifts: mornings, afternoons and nights)
Salary: 46,000 + Annual allowance to be used towards training or new qualifications + Overtime Opportunities + Soft Benefits
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, dynamic environment where your technical expertise will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our systems.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery including working with motors, rollers, belts, sensors, drives, and more.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Level 3 qualification in engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
