Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Newcastle Under Lyme
Shifts: Days Monday-Friday
Salary: 13.50ph - 14.25ph
12 Week Temporary - Permanent role
Metalis is working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Newcastle Under Lyme, who due to continuous growth are looking for a Welder / Fabricator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Job duties:
- Execute MIG welding on diverse metal components and structures
- Fabrication duties
- Working from engineering drawings, and specifications to ascertain welding requirements accurately
- As a MIG Welder you will be required to configure welding equipment and ensure optimal settings for each project
- Utilise power tools required for MIG Welding and Fabrication including hand tools for cutting, shaping, and grinding metal pieces
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts in accordance with provided specifications
- Conduct thorough inspections of welds to uphold quality standards; perform necessary adjustments or repairs as required
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and uphold cleanliness and organisation within the work area
