Paisley Site Services is delighted to collaborate with a leading global engineering company in the search for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team at Hinkley Point.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting remeasurements of mechanical equipment quantities and weights to determine man-hours and assess changes from initial estimates, recalculating Project Contract values.
- Identifying and managing changes in mechanical equipment packages, including Variations, Compensation Events, and claims, while ensuring timely notifications and preparing cost and program impacts. Collaborating with the planning team and negotiating with clients when necessary.
- Reviewing tender allowances, establishing budget baselines, and managing budget adjustments. Validating tender estimate quantities, re-measuring quantities, and aligning final quantities and costs.
- Preparing and reviewing costs, accruals, cost forecasts, and sales forecasts, along with conducting monthly Project Reviews.
- Developing and managing a risk management plan, regularly updating and reviewing risks throughout the project.
- Maintaining positive communication with clients and the project team to address issues promptly and find effective solutions.
- Organizing commercial meetings to review project status with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, as well as facilitating additional meetings as needed.
- Collaborating with subcontractors to enhance estimates and validate changes.
- Supporting the Project Manager and other departments as necessary, and producing reports and information as requested by the Commercial Manager/Director.
