They are now looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join their sociable finance team. This position is perfect for individuals eager to advance their accounting careers while contributing to a thriving quality driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports specific to service operations.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely billing and collections.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting activities for service projects.
  • Help streamline financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide assistance during audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements:

  • AAT qualified / Studying CIMA/ACCA
  • Previous experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
