Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fosber Machine Operative to join adedicated production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining Fosber machinery, or a keen willingness to learn! Ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Fosber machinery to produce high-quality corrugated products.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Fosber equipment.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Document and report any issues or defects in the production process.
- Continuously seek ways to improve production processes and machine performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fosber Operative or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of Fosber machinery and/or related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts Monday to Friday-inclusive
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or vocational training in machine operation or a related field.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in the corrugated industry.
