We are representing a leading manufacturer in the Printing industry, dedicated to providing high-quality products to theirvalued clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Die Cutter/machine Operator to join our dynamic team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you!

This is working on a continential shift pattern, 12 hour shifts, rotating between days and nights!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain die-cutting machines to produce parts and products according to specifications.
  • Set up die cutters by installing dies, adjusting guides, and ensuring proper machine settings.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure the quality and accuracy of cuts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the die-cutting process.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
  • Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain records of production output and machine performance.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE's or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a die cutter or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of die-cutting machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
