Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain die-cutting machines to produce parts and products according to specifications.
- Set up die cutters by installing dies, adjusting guides, and ensuring proper machine settings.
- Monitor the production process to ensure the quality and accuracy of cuts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the die-cutting process.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain records of production output and machine performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a die cutter or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of die-cutting machinery and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
