HGV Driver - Farm deliveries

The Role:
As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering animal feed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and company requirements. Your role will involve:
- Completing deliveries on time to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Representing the company professionally while interacting with customers and identifying ways to meet their needs.
- Driving in accordance with regulations, ensuring full compliance with transport laws and company policies.
- Prioritising safety at all times, protecting yourself, colleagues, and the general public.
- Adapting to different schedules and workloads to maintain an efficient delivery service.
- Monitoring driving performance to support fuel efficiency and sustainability goals.
- Reporting any issues related to quality, service, or safety promptly to maintain high operational standards.
- Following company procedures, including health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Ensuring compliance with industry assurance schemes such as UFAS, FIAS, and NOPS.
Essential:
- A valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2)
- Driver CPC qualification.
- A flexible approach to work, including handling bulk feed deliveries as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Desirable:
- Experience in agriculture or animal feed logistics.
