Control Systems Engineer | Aberdeen – Office-based with site work (onshore and offshore) | Full Time | £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Are you the right person for the job?

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BSc or BEng in Science (Physics), Computing, Electrical, or Electronics

Experience:

Essential:

  • 2-3 years (Engineer) or 4-6 years (Senior Engineer) in control systems integration
  • Hands-on experience in design, configuration, testing, installation, and commissioning

Desirable:

  • Proficiency with Emerson DeltaV
  • Experience with PLC/SCADA systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.)
  • Subsea Production Control Systems expertise
  • Knowledge of process control and safety systems

Key Qualities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-sufficient, adaptable, and confident under pressure
  • Technologically savvy with excellent MS Office proficiency
  • Willingness and flexibility to work offshore

What will your role look like?

You’ll work on a variety of control system modification projects from start to finish:

  • Design & Configuration: Develop and refine systems tailored to project needs.
  • Installation & Testing: Carry out both onshore and offshore activities.
  • Commissioning & Support: Ensure systems operate flawlessly, providing ongoing client support.

Flexibility to travel offshore and a willingness to adapt to diverse project demands are essential.
