Omega has an exciting opportunity to join a leading Global Manufacturer within their Sales and Operations team.

This role is critical to the fulfilment of both UK and International orders, candidates will be expected to liaise with third party logistics providers and may require some customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities – Logistics Co-Ordinator

  • Scanning of paperwork to ensure all documents are uploaded on to the system.
  • Creating international Parcel labels via courier portals – and updating spreadsheet for invoicing.
  • Arranging collections for customer returns
  • Raising Claims with couriers for missing/ damaged parcels and pallets
  • Clearing Transport email daily ensuring that all courier notifications are filed.
  • Updating supply chain calendar for collections/ delivering coming in and out of the warehouse
  • Assisting with transport requests when assistance is required.
  • Requesting forms from couriers on a daily to ensure there are no exceptions/ delays and querying couriers if some do occur.
  • Communicating with International logistics partner's daily to ensure all tracking information is up to date
  • Arranging shipments between Adey and all 3PL Logistics providers
  • Completion of dangerous goods paperwork
  • Escalating customer service delivery issues to Logistics partners to ensure consistent and high level of customer satisfaction
  • Communication with internal trade team for all order tracking and customer service queries related to order fulfilment
  • Any other duties as determined by line manager
