Career Makers is seeking an experiencedQuantity Surveyor(QS) with specificgroundworks experienceto join our team in Gloucester GL10 area.

Please note, applications with housing QS experience will not be considered for this role. Youll work closely with contractors, clients, and colleagues, providing commercial support and ensuring value for money across various projects.

Shift: Monday - Friday

Pay: £60000 - £70000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess contractor quotations for small and major works.
  • Oversee the quote process across multiple work streams, ensuring cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with quotation and application processes.
  • Conduct commercial assessments of contractor applications (up to £1 million).
  • Generate Valuation Certificates and manage invoicing for completed works.
  • Provide commercial reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc cost reports.
  • Assist with tendering and contractor re-procurement exercises.
  • Lead valuation audits and performance review meetings with contractors.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Input commercial data daily into our IT system.
