A well-established and diversified business group with a rich history of success across multiple sectors are looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant based in Stourbridge. As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated newly qualified accountant to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the financial operations of a dynamic and ambitious organisation based in a close knit team.

As the Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the group's financial reporting and compliance. You will work closely with the Finance Director, Property Director and wider finance team to provide insightful financial analysis, statutory reporting, and support strategic decision-making for investment purposes.

Ideally you will:

  • Be experienced in the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards.
  • Have experience assisting with external audits and liaising with auditors and Implementing and improving financial controls and processes along with strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP and dealing with various entities in different countries.
  • Managing inter company transactions and reconciliations, and completing due diligence work for monthly board meetings.
  • Providing financial insights and analysis to support business strategy for a investment purposes in the UK and across the globe.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in a similar role.
