Role Overview
The Senior Contracts Engineer/Manager Designate will join a small, highly effective team, managing and designing all aspects of HVAC controls and building management systems. This role requires working both independently and collaboratively, with occasional site visits (predominantly virtual). The successful candidate will consult with commissioning teams and installation subcontractors, ensuring projects run smoothly from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and management of HVAC controls and building management systems (BMS).
- Consult with commissioning teams and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide accurate quotations for systems and services.
- Maintain and develop effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Essential:
- Qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Proficient in Building Management Systems and associated technologies.
- Experience with Tridium technology and BCIA training.
- Knowledge of BACnet, SIPP, and Modbus systems.
- Strong customer management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to run contracts from inception to completion.
- CSCS/ECS card holder.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Desirable:
- Experience with at least one major manufacturer of BMS solutions.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, based on 40 hours per week.
