IT Support Engineer - Stourbridge - MSP- £30K (DOE)

Due to continued growth, a close-knit MSP based in Stourbridge is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the team.

Here you'll be joining a helpdesk of 7, becoming part of a reputable organisation dedicated to delivering exceptional services to end users. The team is expanding across the business, and you will be joining a proactive, and strongly motivated team.

Key Skills required:

  • Previous experience in either a support desk or field/customer facing role
  • Windows Server 11-10 OS & Desktop OS experience
  • O365 Admin centre e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive,
  • Azure AD/EntraID
  • Networking - good experience with Ubiquiti UniFi products, VPNs etc
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and diagnostic experience via logs, tickets and reports
  • Full UK Drivers licence

It would be highly advantageous if the ideal candidate has experience with Hyper-V/VMware, and backup technologies such as Veeam, Acronis etc.

The roles and responsibilities of the role include administering 1st & 2nd Line support requests, accurate call logging and relevant escalation when necessary. Working closely with the other Service Desk team in a collaborative environment and line management whilst sharing experience and skills where applicable.
