Concept are currently recruiting for an EPoS field service engineer based in the West Midlands / Worcestershire area to work directly for a convenience store chain

The Role:

  • Repair and breakfix of EPOS hardware
  • Installation and deployment of systems using correct and documented procedures
  • Data Cabling
  • Provide EPOS operational standards advice - Via Telephone, modem, Best Practice and / or training
  • Ensuring personal availability at all times required within defined territory(s
  • Holding adequate spares availability at all times within defined territory(s)
  • Compliance that all deployed / repaired systems are asset tracked and assigned to the correct customer
  • Ensuring non-EPOS PC based ordering systems are supported and available
  • Support the Helpdesk team as required
  • General administration duties
  • Communicate any observations of future potential issues which may arise from any IT system

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours a week, predominantly Monday - Friday
  • 1 in 3 weekends - Saturday + Sunday on call - 2 days off in lieu following week

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience as an EPoS Field Service Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Field Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer etc.

Package:

  • Salary £28,000 + company van + overtime available when working bank holidays
  • 23 days holiday
