The IT Technician will oversee the daily operations of the IT support service, ensuring consistent service levels and system reliability. Reporting to the IT Manager, they will also contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s IT strategy.This position is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are seeking progression within their career path as you will be solely mentored by the department manager. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Regularly monitor backups, verify data integrity, and collaborate with the IT Manager to address any issues.
  • Contribute to the IT infrastructure maintenance plan, ensuring it is well-documented and effectively executed by the IT Technician.
  • Oversee all aspects of the company’s IT systems and network technologies.
  • Monitor helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely updates, resolution of requests, and keeping users informed of progress.
  • Plan, test, and manage software deployments, ensuring all software is properly licensed.
  • Ensure systems and infrastructure remain operational and stable to meet business requirements.
  • Provide training, development, and advanced support to the IT Services Technician, helping them deliver reliable and efficient services across the organisation.
