Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the IT support service.
- Ensure all systems and infrastructure are reliable, operational, and stable.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and escalated support to IT Technicians.
- Manage the helpdesk, ensuring all requests are logged, actioned, and resolved within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain IT systems, network technologies and ensure data security.
- Assist in developing and delivering the business's IT strategy, reporting directly to the IT Manager.
- Train and develop IT staff, ensuring continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of system maintenance, networking, Active Directory, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A passion for IT, with a keen focus on ensuring outstanding service for all users.
- Really importantly we are looking for someone that is seeking career progression and looking to step into a managerial role in the next 12-18 months.
