This is a full or part time permanent position for an experienced commercial insurance account administrator, to help service an existing customer base and assist with new business quotations

Main duties

· The broking of insurance risks and preparation of contract certain quotes, providing full details of the policy terms, conditions and endorsements applicable and confirming in writing the information upon which terms have been based.

· Administering adjustments and addressing queries raised by existing clients and prospects.

· Taking details of claims, reporting to insurers and tracking the progress of claims.

· Checking proposal forms, credit agreements etc from clients to ensure all information complete and correct prior to submission.

· Checking policy documentation from insurers to ensure sums insured, proposer details, business description and policy endorsements/warranties, noted interests, scope of cover etc are correct and as quoted.

· Administering the diary system - chasing insurers/client for outstanding documentation, payment, claims updates etc
