Private Client Legal Secretary – Stourbridge
A smaller, well-established and well-run law firm with a friendly, professional and client-focused culture is seeking a Private Client Legal Secretary to join its team!Â
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, this will include:
- Providing secretarial support to fee earners in the Private Client department, including drafting and formatting legal documents
- Handling audio and copy typing, including dictation
- Managing client files, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Liaising with clients, handling enquiries professionally and sensitively
- Assisting with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate applications and Trust administration
- Diary management, scheduling appointments and organising meetings
- Liaising with external stakeholders such as courts, estate agents and financial institutions
- Assisting with billing and invoicing tasks
- General administrative duties, including filing, scanning and correspondence
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in a Private Client department is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
