Private Client Legal Secretary – Stourbridge

A smaller, well-established and well-run law firm with a friendly, professional and client-focused culture is seeking a Private Client Legal Secretary to join its team! 

You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, this will include:

  • Providing secretarial support to fee earners in the Private Client department, including drafting and formatting legal documents
  • Handling audio and copy typing, including dictation
  • Managing client files, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with clients, handling enquiries professionally and sensitively
  • Assisting with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate applications and Trust administration
  • Diary management, scheduling appointments and organising meetings
  • Liaising with external stakeholders such as courts, estate agents and financial institutions
  • Assisting with billing and invoicing tasks
  • General administrative duties, including filing, scanning and correspondence

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary in a Private Client department is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
