- My client, a manufacturing company near Stourbridge, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position.
- The role involves supporting the Maintenance Manager to ensure machinery and equipment operate at maximum capacity.
- Candidates should have previous experience in a similar manufacturing role and be suitably qualified as a Maintenance Technician/Engineer.
- The position offers a salary of up to £35,000 and requires a UK Driving License and own transport.
- This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week with a 1:00 PM finish on Fridays.
The main focus of the role will be to support the Maintenance Manger in ensuring all machinery , equipment and facilities run at maximum capacity.
The key responsibilities of the role include
- Attend Breakdown of machines and equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Implement PPM
- Ensure Health and Safety are maintained at all times
- Support with Facility maintenance around both sites as required
- Assist with contracts on-site
- Maintaining Maintenance and Equipment Database
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- UK Driving License and your own transport
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Good IT skills incl. MS Office
- Highly organized and a strong team player
- Suitably Qualified as a Maintenance Technician/Engineer
This positon is based on a 40 hour a week contract with a 1300 finish on Fridays, the salary on offer is up to £35,000
