In this role you will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the learning and development of SEN pupils, provide 1:1 support to pupils, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals and facilitate small group activities to reinforce learning and social skills.What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ Level 2 Qualification in supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is an advantage.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
