Job scope:

We are looking to recruit a Registered General Nurse (RGN), ideally with experience working with dementia and elderly patients, specifically during night shifts. The ideal Registered General Nurse candidate will also be experienced in leading night shifts and managing care assistants, ensuring readiness for day shifts.

The position will involve working part-time on a rota basis, covering nights from 6:45 pm to 7:00 am, 2 shifts per week, plus working alternative weekends.

As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. Responsibilities include developing tailored care plans, safely administering medication, and delivering excellence in all aspects of care. You, as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), will have the autonomy to implement best practices and will be valued and respected for your contributions.

Do you have?

  • Registration with the NMC
  • Possession of a driving licence and access to a vehicle, due to lack of public transportation
  • Experience in caring for dementia and elderly patients
  • Clinical knowledge as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
