Job Overview:
The Goods In Operative is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods, ensuring accurate stock levels and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Inspect for damages and report discrepancies.
- Unload and store goods in correct locations.
- Update stock records and assist with inventory control.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely (forklift license required).
Requirements:
- Valid forklift license.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
