Facilities Controller
Salary: £30,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday
Location: Stowmarket
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized Facilities Controller to oversee the maintenance, compliance, and smooth operation of our facilities. You will play a key role in ensuring that the workplace remains safe, efficient, and well-maintained while supporting the wider team with facility-related requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective facility management.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Maintain records of equipment servicing, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Support with budgeting, cost management, and procurement of facility-related services.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
- Ensure the workplace is clean, organized, and fully functional for all staff.
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience in a facilities management or similar role.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with external vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using facility management software or reporting systems (preferred).
