Job Title: HGV Driver
Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk
Salary: 18ph-20ph
Hours: Part time, only on last 2 weeks of month. 40 hours on weeks you're working.
We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Driver for a local manufacturer in Stowmarket, Suffolk. This is a part-time role working bespoke hours, working the last 2 weeks of each month.
We are offering an excellent salary with an overnight allowance on top of your pay! Overtime is paid at increased rates & the company offers further benefits such as
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving: Operate HGV vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to customer locations, ensuring compliance with all road and safety regulations.
- Warehouse: Assist with the loading and unloading of stock, stock rotation, picking, packing etc
- Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control.
- General support: Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy, safe, and organised
Requirements:
- Valid HGV1 driving license with a valid qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- CPC Driving card
- Ability to work well in a fast moving environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry items
- A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
