Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a recognized leader in energy management solutions, focused on delivering cutting-edge technologies that drive energy efficiency and sustainability. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in Trend Building Management Systems (BMS) for key projects based in Suffolk. This is a minimum 3-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Trend BMS systems. You will ensure that these systems are installed to the highest standards and commissioned for optimal performance, helping our clients achieve their energy management goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of Trend BMS systems on-site.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform testing, verification, and calibration of systems to meet performance criteria.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during installation and commissioning, providing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and clients as required.
- Document all installation and commissioning activities, including updates to system configurations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, specifically in installing and commissioning Trend BMS systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and BMS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
- A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday. This is a minimum 3 month contract and will be reviewed at the end of the period with a good chance of extension if both parties are happy. The position is to cover the Suffolk region and is an ASAP start.
