We are currently hiring for our reputable client based near Stowmarket who are seeking a Logistics Co-Coordinator to join their team.

Our client are the UK's leading manufacturer of medical examination couches, treatment tables, patient trolleys and ergonomic seating. They are committed to innovation, quality and exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Co-Coordinator to join their team. Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing export shipments and supporting UK logistics. When the team leader is on annual leave, you will assist delivery drivers and organised delivery runs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor logistics and personal inboxes, responding to and assisting with emails
  • Generate packing lists and commercial invoices, sharing them with customers and freight forwarders
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Request freight quotes for quotations and live orders
  • Organise export order collections
  • Liaise with the production team to provide customers with delivery updates
  • Prepare weekly and monthly customer reports as required
  • Oversee container collections when necessary

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or transport.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Sage 200 software.

Please note that due to the location of our client your own transport is essential, there is no public transport routes from nearby towns to where they are based.
