This hybrid role offers flexibility, with two days working from home once probation is passed.Responsibilities of the Audit Senior include:
  • Lead the audit process from the initial planning phase through to final delivery, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Handle non-audit tasks such as preparing financial statements and calculating tax obligations.
  • Set realistic and meaningful job budgets, keeping Managers updated on any potential challenges.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s business, ensuring work is completed to meet both client expectations and deadlines.
  • Help develop and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback and support on their assignments and offering coaching when needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to share best practices and contribute ideas for process improvement and professional development.
The successful Audit Senior will require:
  • An ACA/ACCA qualification with 2-3 years of audit experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • A good level of technical knowledge of Audit & Accounting standards.
  • Previous experience of accounting software including Sage and Xero.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
