- Lead the audit process from the initial planning phase through to final delivery, ensuring smooth execution.
- Handle non-audit tasks such as preparing financial statements and calculating tax obligations.
- Set realistic and meaningful job budgets, keeping Managers updated on any potential challenges.
- Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s business, ensuring work is completed to meet both client expectations and deadlines.
- Help develop and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback and support on their assignments and offering coaching when needed.
- Collaborate with the team to share best practices and contribute ideas for process improvement and professional development.
- An ACA/ACCA qualification with 2-3 years of audit experience.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach.
- A good level of technical knowledge of Audit & Accounting standards.
- Previous experience of accounting software including Sage and Xero.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Hybrid working (2 days from home after probation).
