HR Generalist - Part-time (60%)

We have been retained by one of the global leaders in Home Mechanical Ventilation, Airway Clearance and Sleep therapy on an exciting opportunity for a part-time HR Generalist to join their site in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and data accuracy in HR master data systems
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations for employee data handling
  • Manage employee hiring process: Prepare HR related documents, Support with employee feedback during hiring process, managing recruitment system, support with CV screening and interview scheduling. Write offer letters / employment contracts, perform background check, facilitate work permit process. Assist in updating templates and policies to drive operational efficiency. Partner with local manager to ensure best candidate fit.
  • Employee onboarding: Assist in onboarding of new hires including paperwork, orientation, setting up personnel files, enroll to benefit programs, enroll to training programs, provide onboarding material to employee, input to payroll and assign tasks to managers and other key stakeholder. Conduct onboarding interviews/surveys. (Onboarding can also be internal changes)
  • Employee offboarding: Process the employee offboarding including data management, documentation handling, exit interviews, exit surveys, and ensuring information shared with other key stakeholders within and outside of country.
  • Benefit administration: Enrollment, changes, inquiries from employees.
  • Payroll administration: Time and attendance. Administer time and attendance system/tools, ensure correct input to payroll, leave management application and documentation, manage employee inquires. Collaboration with outsourced payroll provider.
  • Handle invoices related to people expenses
  • Employee support: Serve as first point of contact for HR related inquiries from employees and provide timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits, compliance checks, data analytics, ESG reporting and various HR reports upon request
  • Partner with local leaders and managers in the country to implement global HR processes locally
  • Work with CHRO and HR Director Europe to oversee talent acquisition, development and retention efforts to build a skilled and engaged local workforce. Ensure utilization and alignment to global practices.
  • In close collaboration with Global Director of Total Rewards, support the implementation and development of local compensation and benefits mechanisms, ensure alignment with global total rewards strategy. Facilitate implementation and execution of global yearly annual salary review process and other global rewards processes locally.
  • Escalate employee relations matters to HR Director Europe and CHRO and collaborate on conflict resolution and performance management
  • Manage the employee handbook

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role
  • Experience partnering with local leaders and supporting global HR processes at a local level
  • Good understanding of UK employment regulations and HR best practices
  • Familiar with employee lifecycle management (hiring, onboarding, offboarding, etc.)
  • Administrative excellence and strong attention to detail
  • Efficient in managing multiple HR processes and ability to prioritize tasks in a part time capacity while meeting deadline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • System savvy, e.g. experience from working with data management in HRIS environments
  • Capable of handling basic employee relations
  • Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks to support broader HR objectives
  • Open minded, with high willingness to learn and collaborate in a global environment
