Senior Finance Systems Analyst- NetSuite

Location: South of Birmingham. Hybrid, with travel to the office

About the Role:

Our client, a global SaaS business are seeking a Senior Finance Systems Analyst to lead the implementation, optimization, and management of our finance systems. Your expertise in workflows, customizations, and scripting will be crucial for automating processes, building custom functionality, and ensuring our systems are fully tailored to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merge acquired company systems and processes into existing tooling, ensuring smooth integration, data migration, and alignment with current workflows.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs that provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Stay current with system updates, new features, and industry best practices. Proactively recommend improvements and ensure the system evolves to meet organizational growth and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations and design solutions.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) for new configurations and enhancements.
  • Manage complex system integrations ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization across platforms.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance system performance

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role using NetSuite
  • Certification in system administration preferred.
  • Experience with scripting and advanced workflow capabilities.
  • Experience providing support and user training across multiple business departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Understanding of billing, payment, A/R, general ledger, revenue recognition, and reporting.
