Salary:40,000 - 45,000 annually (Base: 14/hr; Overtime: 21/hr)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Workshop Service Engineer to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy construction equipment, particularly crawler cranes and piling rigs. Ideal for a skilled technician who can perform detailed diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis & Inspection:Identify and resolve equipment issues using diagnostic tools and industry knowledge.
  • Repairs & Maintenance:Conduct comprehensive servicing, repair, and reassembly of heavy machinery components.
  • Documentation:Prepare accurate service reports, tracking repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Communication:Coordinate with team members and clients on repair status and parts requirements.
  • Health & Safety:Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

  • Experience:Minimum 2 years with heavy equipment, particularly cranes and piling rigs.
  • Technical Skills:Basic understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems.
  • Certifications:CSCS card or City & Guilds preferred.
  • Other:Strong troubleshooting skills; teamwork and communication abilities. Driving license preferred.
