ABOUT THE ROLE
T is a young man who lives at home with his parents. He is a quiet young man who takes time to get to know people. Someone needs to have patience and want to build a positive working relationship with T.
He has a diagnosis of Severe Learning Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and Diabetes (insulin-dependent on an Insulin Pump).
We are looking for a Personal assistant to join an established team to support on a flexible basis of up to 8 hours per week.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with diabetes and the use of an insulin pump.
You will be expected to build a good, close working and supportive relationship with T and his family, enabling him to lead a full and varied life, whilst supporting his needs as an individual.
