Our client are a market leading food wholesaler and distributor and they are looking for a Regional Account Manager to join them. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is experienced field sales person within healthcare, education, leisure and hospitality industries.

This is a 'new business hunter' Regional Account Manager role and is covering the patch of Bicester, Birmingham and Worcester, with the central point being Stratford Upon Avon.

To be successful you will need the following skills and attributes for the Regional Account Manager role:

  • As part of the sales team you will be responsible for delivering sustainable sales and profit growth in line with agreed targets.
  • You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with new & existing accounts by analysing territory sales data, minimising orders losses and creating a prospect database.
  • In addition you will develop profitable new business through active canvass calling and ongoing account creation.
  • Your performance will be inline with agreed company KPI's including customer call rate, business growth and retention.
  • You will be able to demonstrate excelling selling skills and have a proven track record in regularly exceeding sales targets. Excellent customer relations and a flexible approach are essential.
  • Working in a busy sales role, your ability to build rapport and long lasting relationships with your colleagues and customers will contribute to our success, as well as yours.

What We Are Looking For:The Regional Account Manager should be a proven field sales professional.

  • Field sales experience - identifying potential; increasing market share; creating new customers; supporting existing customers; key account management; improving margins
  • Business development skills
  • Computer literate - proficient in the use of computer software applications and databases.
  • Presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven commercial growth in current and previous roles with the ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation
