Payroll Officer urgently needed for immediate start!

  • Job Type: Full-time (35 hours per week, 9am-5pm)

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist available to help support a vibrant local organisation during year end. This role involves processing end-to-end payrolls, both weekly and monthly, as well as assisting with year end reconciliations and processes. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • End-to-end payroll processing for both weekly and monthly pay cycles.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll, including salary, benefits, and deductions.
  • Conduct regular payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Provide support during year-end processing.
  • Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any issues promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in handling end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements in the UK.
  • Good communication skills, capable of dealing effectively with queries from employees and management.
