Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the specifications for steel structures and decking installation.
- Measure, cut, and shape steel components to fit the specific project requirements.
- Assemble and install steel components, including decking, using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Inspect and test installed components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
- Possession of a Blue CSCS card.
- Proven experience in steel fitting and decking installation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, and techniques for steel fitting and decking installation.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute steel fitting and decking installation projects.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout the project.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to coordinate tasks and timelines.
