This role is ideal for a qualified accountant looking to step into an industry role where they can play a key part in financial management and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller, assisting with various financial tasks that are crucial to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:* Preparation of monthly management accounts* Assisting in the creation of management reports for the Financial Controller* Analysing monthly financial results* Bank and cash flow analysis* Control account reconciliations* PAYE/CIS and VAT submissions* Auditing internal accounting processes and procedures* Playing a key role in the statutory year-end audit* Reporting to the Financial Controller across all finance-related areas

What we're looking for:* Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with proven industry experience* Experience managing an accounts team* Strong accounting systems knowledge and management reporting skills* Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and manage deadlines effectively* Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills* Confidence in liaising with non-finance stakeholders at all levels* Experience within the construction industry (desirable)* Knowledge of ERP software, specifically Microsoft Navision 365 BC (desirable)
