Reed Finance are working with a well-established organisation in the Inverness area seeking an all-round Finance professional to join a busy and successful Finance Function. If you are numerate, a team player, and proficient in Excel, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll: Compile staff hours, manage sickness and holidays for payroll reporting.
  • Credit Control: Assist with debt collection, posting receipts, and sales ledger reconciliation.
  • Purchase Ledger: Input supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, post payments, and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Fixed Assets: Compile the Fixed Asset Register monthly.
  • Management Accounts: Input and prepare journals, run reports, and prepare accruals and prepayment adjustments.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Ensure monthly reconciliation of balance sheets.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Manage the GRNI report to match purchase orders with invoices.
  • Cash Flow Management: Perform bank reconciliations and update cash flow forecast models.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with stock takes and data collation for KPI reports.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Proficient in Excel, with knowledge of V-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Numerate and a team player.
  • Initiative-driven and willing to take on additional tasks.
  • Able to work under pressure with a pleasant disposition and sense of humour.
