Our client are a well respected Decorators Merchant providing painting and decorating materials to a mixture of trade and retail customers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch (Site) Manager to join this fantastic company.
The role is to manage a large site within the Gloucestershire area. There are two parts to the business, the decorating supplies shop, but it also has a manufacturing warehouse which produces and supplies paint to the companies branch network as well as directly to sites.
The onboarding candidate will need to have very strong knowledge of painting and decorating materials, and will need to be a proven manager with excellent man management skills. There will be 11 staff being managed within the role.
This is Monday-Friday with Saturday's as paid overtime when worked (1.5x salary for saturday working). Although the rota will be set by the Branch Manager it is expected that the Manager will do their fair share of Saturday's.
If you are experienced within the Decorators Merchant industry, or perhaps have worked within a Builders Merchant but sold a lot of painting supplies during your time there, have excellent management skills, and are looking for your next challenge, I would like to hear from you.
