About Us:
Geomap Ltd are an established Chartered Surveyors situated in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. We have been providing both above and below ground services such as topographic surveys, building surveys and utility surveys for 20 years, combining traditional and more advanced technology to tailor projects to meet the needs of our clients and the changing industry.
Job Requirements:
As a Trainee Utility Surveyor, you will:
- Work in a field-based team conducting underground surveys using innovative technology
- Travel to exciting and varied locations across the UK
- Undertake on-the-job training and be encouraged to take advantage of great opportunities for personal growth and development, allowing you to succeed in a career as a surveyor
Candidate Requirements:
As a Trainee Utility Surveyor, you will:
- Be a morning person! Ready to start the day bright and early to complete the surveys
- Have a keen interest in working outdoors and travelling to various locations across the country
- Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English equivalent to grade C or above
- Be a hardworking person with a strong work ethic
- Be a logical thinker and a problem solver
- Be flexible to work away from home and occasionally out of hours
- Be able to work successfully as part of a team, but also the ability to work independently if required
- Be willing to learn, fully committing to completing the training required
- Be required to stay away now and again
- Have a full clean UK driving license (preferred but not essential)
