Our client based in Stroud who are in the care sector, is currently looking for an Office Manager to join their small and friendly office team on a permanent basis. This is a lovely opportunity to work with a team who are dedicated to offering the best possible service to their clients.

Reporting to the Managing Director your main responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective running of the office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an office manager or similar and will be able to hit the ground running offering support to the MD from the get-go!

Main Responsibilities

- Administration including scheduling meetings, appointments and note taking

- Update of client and carer records on an ongoing basis and ensure accuracy of records

- Work closely with the Managing Director to review/maintain policies and procedures

- Attend meetings as required to contribute to continual improvement

- Follow the health and safety policies and report any shortfalls to the Registered Manager

- Assist in recruitment of staff, including managing the DBS process and onboarding

- Be consistent with compliance /GDPR and take on the role of Data Controller

- Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data

- Process invoices and manage petty cash

- Any other ad-hoc duties as required to support the team, delegating where necessary

Please note a DBS check is required for this position.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Salary: Up to £30k depending on experience + company pension + free onsite parking + free blue light card + employee assistance programme + additional day off leave for birthday
