Responsibilities:As a CMM Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring quality and compliance by:

  • Conducting precision measurements using CMM and various inspection tools
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to confirm product compliance
  • Carrying out first-off, in-process, and final inspections
  • Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate quality records
  • Assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
  • Collaborating with production and engineering teams to enhance quality processes
  • Ensuring adherence to ISO and other quality management systems

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, ideally in a precision engineering environment
  • Proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment
  • A strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Experience using manual inspection tools such as micrometres, verniers, and gauges
  • Knowledge of quality standards, particularly ISO 9001
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
