Hooray are delighted to be supporting a long standing client to assist in the recruitment for an Event Planner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As an Events Assistant, you will:

  • Support the management, planning, organising and delivering a calendar of fundraising events
  • Undertake risk assessments on events for both health & safety and cost efficiency
  • Develop opportunities for other income lines within events
  • Ensure all income is received and acknowledged in accordance with agreed policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver a clear and timely brief to produce engaging collateral and encourage participation

To be successful as an Event Planner you will:

  • Have experience and a track record of delivering mass participation events
  • Have a knowledge of fundraising regulations
  • Be able to write clear and effective briefs
  • Understand the importance of budget setting and monitoring
  • Be a creative thinker with a proven ability to produce engaging events

In return, my client is offering an annual salary of £32,300 per annum.
