Air Import Clerk

My client, a privately owned freight forwarder, is looking to recruit an Air Import Clerk to join its small, busy, sociable team.

SALARY:

• Negotiable dependent upon experience - in the region of £30k-£36k
• 20 days annual leave increasing to 25 days
• Annual profit related bonus

HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm

ROLE:

As Air Import Clerk you will be responsible for completing end to end air import shipments including:

• quotations
• completing relevant documentation
• customs entries
• liaising with suppliers,
• negotiating rates

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum one year's experience working as Air Import Clerk
• Excellent communicator
• Strong team player
• First class customer service skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Hard working and committed
