Sales Administrator

Location: Sunbury-On-Thames

Salary: £28,000 - £30,0000

Main Purpose of Job: I am recruiting for an enthusiastic candidate to join my clients' dynamic and expanding company in a busy role. The ideal candidate will liaise between various departments, suppliers, and customers. This role is perfect for an energetic, conscientious, and multitasking individual who can take ownership and get involved in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the Operations team, you will aim to achieve targets as part of the Sales and Operations planning process, meeting deadlines within the set timeframes. You will also support and promote efficiency within the Operations team and oversee the quality standards of work produced.

Main Duties / Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
  • Creating and managing customer accounts through the CRM system.
  • Creating sales orders from customer purchase orders and liaising with customers to progress these orders to completion.
  • Creating purchase orders for factored products related to customer sales orders and liaising with suppliers to progress these orders to completion, managing customer expectations regarding delivery times.
  • Maintaining 3rd party product prices in the CRM (Netsuite).
  • Providing support and guidance to members of the Sales and Administration team.
  • Conforming to company quality management system procedures where applicable.
  • Carrying out sales order kitting requirements for factored parts contained in sales orders.
  • Following all H&S guidelines as part of company procedures, work instructions, risk assessments, and QA procedures.
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Sales, Administration, and Operations teams.
  • Supporting additional sales administration activities as required to support an evolving business.

Skills & Experience:

  • Self-motivated with good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate (experience with Netsuite CRM is an advantage).
  • Team player with the ability to support others within the team.
  • Confident and flexible with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills to work closely with members of the Sales, Production, Finance, and Engineering departments.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and organize your own work schedules and use initiative in solving problems.
  • Understanding of parts lists, procedures, and work instructions required for products to meet specific sales orders.
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
